Trains!

The analogy for the week: Men are trains!
Anyways the night started off right, HalfPint, Cheetah, HonoraryMember, SouljaBoy, and CountryClub headed to the Unicorn, since none of them had been there before. A cute pub downtown, pretty traditional feel since it was basically in a basement. And all the tables had unicorns on them! So cute!
On the way back there was a little vandalism incident in the elevator. "I thought we were supposed to take an elevator." ...We had just gotten off it...
In line for the den there were more pictures. And don't ask where the jar came from... It just magically appeared!
Though back to trains... The analogy works quite well as Cheetah pointed out:

• They come and go.
• You ride them.
• Sometimes it's a short ride, some last much longer.
• You can put your baggage on them.
  
• Sometimes you need to stoke their fire.

You can only imagine how far this can go. But CountryClub decided last night that her train has left the station waving his Stallion hoof as he travels off into the distant sunset. "Bye Train!"
And apparently MGD has a new train. She hoped on at the station last night and she didn't hop right off. Because apparently she broke the first rule, she gave him her number! He must have been some kisser (yes that's right there was a little dance floor lip lock).
Though MGD was not the only one who had a make-out session while dancing. The Tsar almost had his shirt ripped off in front of all of us. But luckily for us we did not have to bear witness to that.
On friday, the crew headed to Mile 1 for MotherGoose's soci club's function. A pretty entertaining night of tons of pictures and Guitar Hero at the bar. CountryClub had a bit of an off night... But apparently it was just because she was cold. So she, HalfPint, and Lost&Found headed back to Rez.
After Mile 1 the rest of the crew continued on to the Crack Alley (oh sorry I meant Back). While at the Alley MotherGoose and Matrix also met new trains and spent the night dancing away with them. There members of the 6K crew were also there. Clueless was as Cluesless as ever, and Fudge... well he was there. HonouraryMember spent the night dancing with CountryClub's friend Tool. Tool was a Tool and picked up Crosby... we'll leave it at that.
A hilarious night was had on Saturday. Cheetah and ManU had everyone laughing until they cried. ManU was HHIGH and Cheetah was DRHHUNK. ManU thought it would be great to get stuck in the moment with Cheetah, and he also performed a sneaky stab and grab on a mischievous confetti gun.

Though a 3am fire alarm was enough to kill anyone. Especially in the state most people were in...

Reading Week...

All of reading week was a bit cas since most people weren't here. Though the highlights need to be noted:

• monday was the new poker... and Lost&Found won...
  
• tuesday was another trip to Moosies where HotLips and K started getting along very nicely... Lost&Found was sexiled... for 3 nights in a row...
• thursday HalfPint snuck into a casino... watch out Ocean's 11!
• friday was Hi Fi where Cheetah met Saskatoon... and his uncle...
• saturday was a trip to the Cherry... aka super sketch! Tho MotherGoose and Nelson stayed back and watched Transformers and Blade III.

Valentine's Day

As another weekend begins "love is in the air". Ok not exactly. Or at least not any more than usual... For Valentine's Day (Thursday) HalfPint decided that everyone should celebrate the friendship and love we've created from our "new" family. Aww....
Therefore a trip to Moose McGuire's was in order. So HalfPint, Lost&Found, HotLips, Cheetah, Crosby, MGD, HonoraryMember, and Birdie, headed over to the pub for an evening of a nice dinner and "fancy drinks".
When back at Rez there was a pre-drinking session... Because everyone who had just gotten back needed more to drink. But seeing as CountryClub had just got back from class, DJ and Nathan2.0 had been on a hot date, and not everyone else had gone to Moosies a quick session was required. Though it did get quite entertaining when Crosby started referring to a "stallion" of some kind... And then "rawred"!! Someone has to go back to elementary and learn her animal sounds...
Then MGD decided she had to prove that she could stand on her exercise ball drunk. Again... (And with the "again" I was referring to standing on the ball... but the drunk part works too)
Excitingly enough CountryClub's cousin came and met everyone at the Den later. Too bad he was totally creeping on Crosby. Though CountryClub was too busy too spend much time with him, since apparently there was a run-in with T. Though Crosby was just attracting the creeps all night, seeing as there were some weird old guys in suits. Can you say future accountants?
Later back in Rez there was a CountryClub incident that had to do with making pasta. Well attempting to make pasta without putting the water in... MGD to the rescue! While MGD and CountryClub were making pasta they found a "You're a tool!" sign. So they ran up to 6K (while the hot pot was on... oops... maybe MGD is not as good at this whole cooking thing as she thinks...) and taped the sign on Clueless' door. Don't worry they didn't forget to knock. And run! When they came back down (they turned the hot pot off) they found out that HalfPint, Nathan, and Cheetah made SR. Congrats guys! As they were discussing this ManU returned from Rundle... His wife's room? Nope, actually his 2nd wives room! Though he was happy enough to sit with CountryClub and eat her destroyed pasta. Well at least someone enjoyed it.
So started the last day before reading week. And a beautiful idea it was! Therefore CountryClub decided it was a perfect day to put on shorts and celebrate the "summer day". Cheetah and MotherGoose all joined in the fun with their own summer clothes and they along with Crosby (who wouldn't dress up!) all headed to Safeway to buy fruit, and flowers, and drinks, all for their party. It was to be a wonderful night where they would play the OC drinking game and celebrate warmness... Ya except then 6K decided that instead of coming to the party they would play poker. It's not even tuesday! Clueless was the only one who came down in his shorts (he was on his way back from the gym... but good effort!)
So to hide the pain that 2K had from the kibosh of their summer party they watched My Best Friend's Wedding. Which was going quite well until Crosby started laughing harder than ever embarrassingly enough, it was in front of CountryClub's friends J and L. Seriously is "My Michael" actually that funny of a phrase?
Further on in the evening a drunken/high party of HalfPint, Cheetah, and Nathan decided that they wanted to go to the bar. So they headed to 17th and ended up doing an impromptu pub crawl. And got back later drunker than when they left, which was actually hard to believe.
Saturday was another slow saturday in Rez. Most people had already left for the break, but none the less people here still partied up. Cheetah, her sister, and a friend from home, as well as MotherGoose. Upon their return all four of them, were joined by HalfPint and Nathan for a game of Cranium. After that became boring they ordered pizza and watched Across the Universe.

Are you ready for this? We are about to reenact one of the most epic weekends in Rez... It at least makes the top 5. Keener's Birthday and Thursden Night. Starting with a nice pre-drink in MotherGoose and HalfPint's room, a bottle of wine was cracked. It started so classy... Then HotLips brought out the China White. And as I recall the bottle was emptied... All by shots...
When heading to the Den CountryClub and MGD decided to have a chat. "Are you as confused as I am?", "... uhh.... Sure..." Though their private conversation was interupted by HotLips "Confused about what?" This could be problematic, this was serious girl-talk. "Nathan! You need to have guy-talk with HotLips!!" He was very welcoming to the idea, and they walked arm in arm into the sunset. Or at least to the Den.
In line there was an interesting conversation between CountryClub and HotLips that had to do with a photo editing him so that he looked bigger... And then he'd look like J? And in the end they concluded that they needed to go shopping and buy HotLips new jeans. CountryClub's motivation? Matrix would be invited.

Later in the Den, MGD was randomly found by the one and only Clueless. And so began an interesting night for these two. Both clearly intoxicated the people surrounding them put all efforts into pushing them together. Therefore they danced and danced... and danced! There was also some mutual chit-chat, that not even they could hear.
Meanwhile ManU was off meeting his wife, on 3R? or 4R? Who knows...
Cheetah had disappeared to "find the guys".
Crosby was sitting on the side, unable to dance :(
And another night of HotLips living up to his name. Seeing as he and Matrix had a nice dance. Plus HotLips kept buying beer and Long Island Iced Teas. He was very good at sharing.
Finally it was time to head back to Rez, somewhere along the way Cheetah found a broom?
Meanwhile MGD and Clueless shared a nice moonlit walk, by themselves. The issue Clueless was much more sober than MGD. And both of them are chickens!!
When everyone was sitting in the lounge MGD turns to Crosby, "Where's CountryClub?"..."Oh shit! I'll call her..." Yes that's right CountryClub had been left at the Den. Though she was able to find her way back on her own. Kudos to her!
While in the lounge Nathan2.0 had pulled of his shirt and nearly passed out while standing. But that's ok because Cheetah just kept rubbing his stomach. When MGD and CountryClub saw Nathan2.0 with his shirt off they mentioned that he should try out for amature night. "W-w-w-w-woah... save it for DJ!" Somehow after this Nathan and Nathan2.0 both had open belts?
Then Cheetah decided that she wanted Nathan2.0 to go to bed and she threw him down the hallway.
Oh and there could have been some drunk dialing... Possibly... Commited by CountryClub: "MGD can I borrow your phone?" Sure. "Hi Clueless by the way you need to change your answering machine message because it is soooo boring! By the way are you coming to century club? Because..." What are you doing?!?! Lol... Ooops...
At some point we had two new comers T and J. Of course this called for a classic CountryClub moment. "T and J" No. "J and T" No. "Wait I don't get it!"
Nathan and ManU had a moment to themselves... "I love you man!"
Also the first night that HotLips was "sexiled!"
Also earlier in the evening there was a "bubblefight" of sorts between FreshMeat and Sonic. Well that's just too cute! Except for slightly immature on his part... But again people can be forgiven for cuteness!
Moving on. Next we have Friday night. Which became deemed as Century Club Night.
This night started off quite well with a shopping trip between CountryClub, MotherGoose, HotLips, and Matrix. Can you say perfect facilitation moment? ;) Though on this trip HotLips lost a bet to CountryClub and we all saw the results of that.About 5 people made it to the end of Century Club. Some people did a Power Hour but either way most people where trashed. It was a good night for everyone, MotherGoose might have been all over Fudge. But only slightly. Though in her defense she did do what everyone was waiting to see by slapping Vernon.
There was also a bit where CountryClub took MGD's phone (why she gave her phone up again is beyond me) and texted Clueless. And once again he lived up to his name. But he did seem genuine, so cute and forgiven.
And where is DJ through this whole night? Well she's not drinking you see because she's on medication for strep throat. But she definitely had her fun by being high as a kite. But then again so are Cheetah and Crosby.
Also the night our loverly Matrix became Ninja... or at least for the first time in rez... After being removed from HotLips and Lost&Found's room she proceeded to make her way down to 2K. And ended up on the floor? Quite annoyed with the people who didn't believe she could "roll" to her room, she yells "Lick my vagine!" then calls "I'm a Ninja!" She did make it back to her room... Eventually. And when she started to leave Crosby was all over it "Get back in there!!!" And she did. For a little while. A short while after, whilst everyone was in the lounge, a hooded figure emerged from the girls wing. The give away? The red hair pulled to the front. "Matrix escaped!" Apparently she headed to 7 stepped out of the elevator, saw a door, and got right back in and went to 6. Where MGD, Crosby, and MotherGoose found her. I think it's about bedtime for everyone!
And so end an eventful weekend... Just kidding seeing as that was only thursday and friday. But saturday was a little more chillaxed. A night of Hannibal, Old School, and Guitar Hero. Though this was not enough for some so Cheetah and Crosby decided they were bored around 10:30 and determined it was about time they started drinking. And somewhere along the way Cheetah disappeared to get high with the boys. Oh and the night was classically ended by a stint from Sonic of smashing a guitar hero guitar. Classy!
A chill night all in all... But I know you still want to here more! So keep reading more... And to everyone involved: Keep up the good work!

Sisterly Love

The next week started off right, with 2 birthdays in one night. AmatureNight and Nathan celebrated... Another year? By each getting rightfully trashed. Everyone headed to wing night at the Den, since Wednesday night can't be spent much better. Pretty much everyone made it but Lost&Found (as per usual on Wing Night) was more Lost than Found. The night ended well since Nathan left for the Casino with $80 in his pocket and made it back up $670. Drinks on him for ThursDen.
Upon entering the Den there was some classic 2K-6K romance in the air. Initially there was Clueless who asked MGD to hold his beer for a moment while went to the washroom. Slightly feminine... But we'll him credit just because it was sooo cute! Next was a cute opportunity that was sadly lost (... not going there) but still had the "Aww..." effect. MotherGoose and Fudge had a little chit-chat. "Will you nurse my wounds?" To which she responded "No." Again we'll forgive the innocent because it was cute!
As the night wore on CountryClub worked her facilitation magic (well she tried). And successfully pushed (quite literally) drunken MGD and Clueless together several times. Though Clueless earned his name this night with his disappearing acts (note the plural) but it's still a good sign seeing as he always came back. Remind me as soon as he clues in that I want to change his name to Boomerang. It's multi-purposeful ;)
Before Friday night officially started it was discussed that this night should probably be a little more chill seeing as HalfPint and CountryClub's little sisters would be staying over, and a classic Rez experience would probably be a little much... But who are we kidding Rez can't settle down, especially if it's asked to. Though attempting to keep it PG seems attainable. Therefore Guitar Hero was turned on, even if some of the participants were slightly intoxicated, yes I mean Nelson and HotLips.
The fun began as Guitar Hero ended, and the troop made their way upstairs needing to first pass by MGD's room, where she, Cheetah, and Crosby had been drinking all night. There were also guest appearances by Nathan, Smokey, and Bigger&Better. Though the conversation hardly past the PG-13 mark so they were probably ok.
But then DJ arrives, accompanied by Campus Security. What a way to end the night. Oh ya it didn't end there... Apparently the Russians had been discussing heading to the Den and DJ thought this was a brilliant idea. So she and Bigger&Better made their way to the Den. But really DJ was at the point where she shouldn't have been allowed in, and when they made it to Mac Hall Bigger&Better told her this. So she ran off... And made it into the Den, where once again she ran into Nathan2.0. Somehow they together were brought back by Campus Security, where DJ decided she wanted the original CountryClub. Aww... Though the most entertaining part of this was when CountryClub convinced DJ that there was a bed in the bathroom so they should head straight there. At this point in the evening MotherGoose was able to fulfill her role of explaining to the little sisters that this was a prime example of how not to act.
The next night began with a group trip to Breakaway's hockey game, by MGD, Crosby, Cheetah, FreshMeat, MotherGoose, Nathan, S, and HotLips. But as always this was not a sober event. They all sported their trusty Hot Chocolate and Bailey's mixes.
Upon their return a new session of Guitar Hero was started. A common trend to this weekend. Though somehow this became boring? Because N64 was started in Clueless' room. Who facilitated that? Because CountryClub didn't get back until later (never fear she got her 2 cents in, aka she stole MGD's cell and texted Clueless). Though MGD and Clueless did have a nice "chat" for a good hour... alone... in his room... We'll leave that to your own imagination...
There was also some other chemistry in the air on this particular night. FreshMeat and Sonic had a movie night, Gone in 60 Seconds. Classic. And a warning? Though he did go all out and make popcorn. Oh wait that wasn't this night! ("Hmm... FreshMeat!" ... "I hope you stay that red!")
Also worth mentioning. HalfPint and Lost&Found left early in the evening to have dinner at Lost&Found's relatives' house. Though MotherGoose got an entertaining call during the night, basically they both got to drunk to drive back that night so they had to stay over. Well I'm sure that was a lovely impression they made :P
And so another weekend ends. But really that just means a new one is about to begin!

Squish, Squash

Interesting news this week: Squishy is in town. Yes MGD is very happy about this. But really we want to see her with the one and only InterchangeableKelly. Meanwhile as MGD keeps running off to his games (...) 2K attends Wings Night at the Den. And this proved who's most on our floor. Seeing as the girls all got pints and the guys could only handle single glasses. Come on boys pick it up it 's not like it's Monday!
Though the highlight of the week is ThursDen. This week is probably the first week we really consider DJ and Nathan2.0. Hmmm... Well it started with the Den. Where most ridiculous nights begin. We were there to celebrate Matrix's birthday.
When back at Rez, everyone realized that DJ was nowhere to be found. MotherGoose ran back to the Den, CountryClub called and texted her, but she was missing. Everyone thought back to when they had last seen her. Probably with Nathan2.0. Hmmm... Is anyone in his room? Bang on the door. Nope. Press our ears to the door. There is definitely someone in there... MGD had a brilliant idea. Call DJ while listening on the door... "No... Don't answer that." Busted!!
Meanwhile in the kitchen Sonic was eating crackers but Cheetah got dangerously close to them. So he began throwing them at her. "If you keep throwing those at me I'm going to take them away." ... "You wouldn't dare!"
Out in the lounge Cheetah, CountryClub, Bigger&Better, and Smokey all awaited the "walk of shame" back to her room. And it never came? Now everyone was thoroughly confused.
And then comes Friday. Cheetah and MGD going strong. This'll be the 3rd night? But of course we have plans to meet Squishy and InterchangeableKelly at Tequila. And CountryClub has been banned from driving.... fun... So the group makes there way to the train, and run into a creepy old man. The Creeper from the Den! So we all get on the train and make sure that the Creeper is not in the same car as ours.
Once on the train Birdie announces that she has to pee... Oh jeeze what now? Well MotherGoose and CountryClub agree to get off the train and find the washroom. So they get off and walk to the 24hr McDonalds. It's closed, so they move on to the Mac's/Subway, the washroom was under construction. One last stop then screw it... They enter into the classy hotel find the washroom, and they do, and everyone's a snob. But they can pretend. As they are leaving Nelson calls, she and AmatureNight are on the next train. So they book it out to the train station and the 5 of them continue on to meet the others at Tequila.
Shortly after Birdie had to pee Cheetah, HalfPint, Lost&Found, and HotLips all had to pee as well, not wanting to waste time they decided finding a washroom was out of the question. This meant finding a random alleyway from them all to release in... Of course Cheetah and HalfPint had the whole squat down thing going on. While Lost&Found and HotLips spelled their names on the pavement...
At Tequila we had some interesting things occur... Can you say HotLips and Matrix? Oh yes they were having a lovely time... Though Crosby was assigned to watch DJ. So at least that was covered. But really at the end of the night Mousey was really the one that dealt with her. And so ended Friday night.
Saturday was slightly divided. Cheetah, Birdie, and Mousey headed to Melrose for a nice night at the bar. Meanwhile a Poker game had begun back at Rez. With a $5 buy in MGD, MotherGoose, HalfPint, Lost&Found, and HotLips, gambled there little hearts away. With a gracious win by HotLips.
Then at some point nearing the end of the night CountryClub returned, and had quite obviously ended her sober streak. Oh Bailey's! Though she and MGD had a good time chasing down Fudge for MotherGoose to find out his age. He's 21 by the way. Though somehow there was an incident where MGD climbed on top of her exercise, and to put it bluntly she was high in more ways than height.
Concluding yet another night... But never fear there's more to come... So keep your eyes open!

And Take 2...

We all trooped into 2nd semester more ready than ever for a semester beyond all semesters. The first weekend back was a drunken gongshow, where everybody was just ready to see each other once again.
Though classes began. But does that really stop anybody? I think we all held out to thursday, but the interesting night was friday, aka DJ's Birthday Party. Of course there was a classic rez pre-drink, followed by an entertaining walk to the Den.

Once in the Den we first stumbled into drunken AmatureNight, who had been there with a few friends for a significant amount of time. Or at least we hope it was significant... And proceeded to have "chill" night of drinks and pool. Haha! Yah right. The first encounter was with Creeper, some creepy old man who we frequently run into at the Den. And of course he asks DJ if she's up for anything. Though Crosby was all over that one and interjects that there's no way! But DJ, in her drunken state, says "Yes I am!" And so the night begins...
About 1 1/2 hrs later Nathan showed up and learns that he was banned from the Den and can't get in. DJ learns this two. And as quickly as she finds out she decides she's leaving. Meanwhile CountryClub had already left the Den to head to the DC. On DJ, Nathan, Nathan2.0, Smokey, Bigger&Better, and MotherGoose's way back to rez DJ decides she is going to go find CountryClub. So she runs to the DC (quite literally), though CountryClub had already left, but DJ wasn't very happy about this. Bigger&Better came to bring DJ back to rez, but DJ wasn't happy about this either so DJ dove at him, and took him out. Kinda impressive for her size!
Finally back at rez most people had congregated in HalfPint and MotherGoose's room, so a select few, to her dismay, tried to get DJ into bed. But that wasn't happening because she kept calling "Nathan is mad at me!" and "Nathan hates me!". Finally convinced to sleep everyone left DJ alone and joined the other's in HalfPint and MotherGoose's room. Where interestingly enough we all got a show... By the one and only AmatureNight, with an encore that included Lost&Found. Well they were practicing for amature night all right!
This would be a nice end to the story, but it wouldn't be rez if it was. Not 15 mins. later DJ climbs out of bed (PJs and all) walks into the room where everybody else was and announces that she is returning to the Den; it's 1:30am. Oh boy! So CountryClub and HotLips agree that if she can walk to the Den by herself then they will accompany her. They made it to the DC! Then DJ turned around, walked to her room and went to bed. Where was that attitude an hour before?
The next night was beer-bogganing. Which was basically 15 people squeezed into 2 cars, and more beer than they can all handle. Also the night that we are introduced to Clueless. Could this be the first night of another romance? It would seem that MGD has a softspot for Clueless.
So this was the night that we officially invited FreshMeat into our group!
Though MGD is a little busy this night. Plus as I recall HalfPint stole name tags (aka price tags) and everyone became labeled. Apparently MGD was drunk!
Also, shall I mention the Spice Girls. There are some scandalous videos of the crew singing dancing and being outright ridiculous. Also since CountryClub is nowhere to be found, DJ announces that Nathan2.0 will be her replacement. Though not only does he replace her but in the heart of DJ he also replaces Nathan. Anyways in DJ's own words "Nathan is overrated".
Since my memory is lacking of this weekend, we need to add some more... Keep me posted!
